Description:
This movie, recommended to me by Yonsın and Jasmin, tells the story of a man trying to survive by creating his own music in a small town, whose life takes a fantastical turn after a late-night accident. Despite spending years writing, playing, and singing his own songs, he struggles to gain recognition or reach an audience. Everything changes on a fateful night when a global blackout occurs, and he wakes up in a world where The Beatles never existed. From this moment, a fun and music-filled adventure begins as he introduces their legendary songs to an entirely oblivious world, creating moments that are both hilarious and heartfelt. The movie brilliantly combines nostalgia with a unique premise, delivering a story that’s as whimsical as it is thought-provoking. The soundtrack, naturally, is a highlight, as it’s filled with timeless Beatles hits that remind you of why their music became legendary in the first place. And let’s not forget—Ed Sheeran makes a memorable appearance, adding even more charm to the mix. For me, the only drawback was its 2-hour runtime, which felt slightly stretched. I think trimming it down to 1.5 hours might have kept it even tighter and more engaging. However, this is a minor flaw in an otherwise delightful and entertaining movie. If you’re a fan of music, feel-good storytelling, and a little bit of magical realism, this movie is a must-watch. Leave your comments below, and let me know if the Beatles’ absence made you appreciate their genius even more. Enjoy! 🎶🎥🍿✨
