Description:
This enjoyable Spanish movie was recommended to me by “Eli,” “Nelson,” and “Mike” from among you. I’m pinning the profile of the first sender and jumping straight into the review. The movie centers on six individuals struggling with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) who unexpectedly meet in a famous doctor’s waiting room. Each of them suffers from different compulsions, such as avoiding stepping on floor lines or shouting obscenities uncontrollably. While waiting for the doctor, they begin interacting with each other, and what follows is a hilarious, heartfelt, and unexpectedly moving journey. First of all, this is a short and sweet Spanish movie, just 1.5 hours long. Since the movie relies on dialogues, it doesn’t need a big budget, and frankly, it doesn’t miss it at all. The cleverly written script and well-crafted characters create a charming, laugh-out-loud experience that keeps you glued to the screen. The entire movie takes place in one room, proving that brilliant writing and engaging performances can be just as effective as the biggest blockbusters. Every character has a unique quirk that feels hilariously exaggerated yet strangely relatable. And here’s my question: Why can’t we create movies like this more often? I couldn’t help but feel frustrated when I realized how simple yet fantastic this movie was. It reminded me that great storytelling doesn’t need expensive effects—just great writing and strong acting. It gave me an hour and a half of pure enjoyment, and I wish the same for you. Leave your comments below, and let me know which character’s quirk made you laugh the most. Enjoy! 🎥😂🍿
