Description:
Although I didn’t watch this movie based on Arem’s recommendation, I’m still adding Arem’s profile above as the first person to suggest it and now moving on to the subject at hand. The movie is about two agents trying to prevent the end of the world. While the plot might sound simple when summarized like this, the way the movie handles this “simple” concept will make it impossible for your brain not to fry. With time travel, parallel universes, and more intricate ideas, the movie manages to tangle the viewer’s mind within the first 40 minutes. I’ll say this upfront: if you’re not into movies like this, or if thinking and piecing things together while watching doesn’t bring you pleasure, I’d suggest skipping this 2-and-a-half-hour movie because you might end up frustrated. However, if you’re like me and enjoy this genre, make sure to carve out some time for yourself and watch the movie with a calm, focused mind. I’ll also be writing a short review of the movie to add here, because understanding and digesting it in one go is definitely not easy. In fact, the plot is simple, but the way it’s handled is so complex that after watching, you may end up reading some details and thinking, “Wait, was it really like that?” In essence, you’ll be watching a very out-there, unforgettable, “alternate reality” themed movie that has clearly been well thought out. I’d love to hear your thoughts, whether good or bad, so make sure to share them below. Enjoy the movie!
