1.Superbad

6 Hilarious Seth Rogen Movies You Can't Stop Laughing - Superbad

The first movie where we entered the world of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. A high school movie that they wrote the script for while they were still in high school, even intending to play the leading roles themselves. However, since they didn’t look young enough to portray high school students when the movie was being filmed, they brought Michael Cera and Jonah Hill into the industry. This is the first Seth Rogen comedy that tells the story of the lives of antisocial high school students, without the classic high school hierarchy, and in a super sarcastic tone. I can’t find much more to say about this movie—just watch it!

Knocked Up

The first movie starring Seth Rogen, made in collaboration with Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen. In the movie, Ben (Seth Rogen), who is trying to create a website with his friends that tracks the duration of explicit scenes in movies, spends his life in a shared house with them. One night, Ben meets Alison (Katherine Heigl), who works in the media industry, and after a one-night stand, Alison becomes pregnant. Despite not knowing each other well and living completely different lives, they attempt to navigate a double life together. 3.Pineapple Express

Pineapple Express

The movie is the first touch of the Seth Rogen and James Franco bromance to hit the big screen. Released in 2008, Stoner is an action-comedy adventure that follows two characters after they witness a murder. The drug that also gave the movie its name became associated with Seth Rogen among fans after the film’s box office success. Starting within the stoner community, the movie managed to make the masses laugh. An absurd comedy, far from the typical cannabis activist films, it wins over audiences through the perspective of a true stoner.

4.This Is The End

This Is The End

Seth Rogen, who gathered all his friends we’ve already seen in his previous movies, said, “Come on, bro, let’s make fun of ourselves a little bit.” Everyone from Rihanna to Kevin Hart, Emma Watson to Paul Rudd, makes an appearance, even if it’s just for a single scene. Aside from that, the main cast is already made up of Seth’s closest friends. It’s an apocalyptic comedy movie where each actor plays themselves. James Franco, who is hosting a party at his new house, has turned the place into a parade. In the movie, where the apocalypse is mocked, the close friends first try to survive and then ascend to heaven. Seth Rogen even managed to make Channing Tatum, whom he had never met before, the main character in the most absurd scene of the movie. This guy has it—he can do it!

5.The Interview

The Interview

I initially thought Seth Rogen was trying to boost his fame when I first watched the movie. This is because the movie caused a global issue between America and North Korea. In the movie, Seth Rogen shares the lead role with his close friend James Franco, and since a talk show is the favorite program of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, the talk show host and producer are invited to North Korea, prompting America to roll up its sleeves to carry out its plans regarding North Korea. Even the release process of the movie was an issue in itself. However, despite all of this, I believe we watched a successful and funny dose of Seth Rogen‘s humor in the movie. You’ll also spot different celebrities throughout the movie.

6.Long Shot

Long Shot

It’s not hard to say that this is Seth Rogen‘s softest comedy. Perhaps this time, it’s because he had to share the leading roles with Charlize Theron, the noble female lead of action movies, and such a movie was born. Charlotte (Charlize Theron), who is running for the presidency of the United States, meets Fred (Seth Rogen), an investigative journalist whom she had babysat years ago. The love story between the two, who are on their way to becoming a not-so-accepted couple, is presented to us with a blend of comedy. Aside from one or two scenes, it is a modern romantic comedy that you can watch even with your family without feeling uncomfortable. I believe this movie actually shows us the level of comedy that Seth Rogen aims to pursue in the future!
