I think it wouldn’t be wrong to say it’s a masterpiece about poverty and deprivation. This movie also shows us that you don’t need to spend a lot of money to make great movies. An Ayşe, an Ahmet, and the deprivation they genuinely experience are enough to create a masterpiece. You’d be missing out if you didn’t watch it. The music is also by Erkan Oğur, and there’s an Erik Satie commentary by Erkan Abi in the movie.
