You put the movie on, dimmed the lights, and the HDTV covering the wall is your best friend right now. What happens next will be between you and the screen. It should be! This is something special, meant for your eyes only; because you’re about to watch a movie that shows the most pure, hygienic, and innocent moments of your favorite artist, whom you adore.
No, it’s not porn, just a dirty movie—the kind that involves a bit of lip-biting, swallowing, and heart-pounding excitement. More than conversations, there’s mutual contact. Some scenes might change your perspective on sex, while others are just examples of the old “sex sells” trope.
The door bursts open, and your father walks in, asking if there’s a movie and saying, “Come on, I’ll watch it too.” No way. If we said it’s not porn, we didn’t say it’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows either. After all, we’re talking about a work that contains erotic scenes. At one point, you might think, “Let’s watch it, what’s the big deal, it’s a movie in the theaters,” but don’t. It won’t work, and that movie won’t be enjoyable.
1.Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice
Don’t say, “If I were to watch a movie like that, would I choose one from 1969?” The presence of Bob, Carol, Ted, and Alice in the movie coincided with the winds of freedom sweeping the world at that time. And oh, what happens next? We can all sleep with each other—after all, it’s just a physical need. Of course, there’s jealousy involved: “When you do it, nothing happens; when I do it, there are issues.” After all, Bob, Carol, Ted, and Alice are all human. The best part of the movie is undoubtedly Natalie Wood. Our beautiful star never smiled in real life and tragically lost her life suspiciously at the age of 43 in a boat accident.

2.Brokeback Mountain
We can understand Ang Lee’s difficulty in remaining calm regarding family and relationships because neither the dual relationships nor the family life lived behind closed doors with a thousand and one hideous designs are as innocent as they seem.
It is known that Ang Lee would not approach the issue in the same way as Müge Anlı. Still, Brokeback Mountain caused quite a fuss before it was even released. The movie features a gay relationship, and moreover, it deals with the cowboy institution that America once used to build its entire heroic culture. The movie, which the gay community praised (though some did not), and the non-gay community questioned, “Why would anyone leave their friends Anne Hathaway or Michelle Williams for something like this?”, already holds a special place in the history of cinema.

3.Love & Other Drugs
Girl, weren’t you the one who said, “It’s okay, okay”?
Drink a little, and the rest is easy.
Girl, I looked in the dictionary and there’s no word for your condition.
Girl, what a liar you are; don’t you have any shame at all…
We decided to write from Behçet Necatigil’s pen to help Jake Gyllenhaal. We aimed to mix genres to get our heads together. Love & Other Drugs, shot under the sponsorship of Viagra (we’re serious), pretends to be a romantic comedy but turns into a catalog shoot featuring Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal. During the movie’s launch, figures were given for what percentage of the movie the actors appeared naked—calculate the likelihood of parents from there.

4.Zack and Miri Make a Porn
Don’t be fooled by the name; if we say it’s not porn, it’s not. Although Seth Rogen looks like he came out of a German Mickey movie from the 70s, it’s not. The movie, which tells the story of two childhood friends who are penniless and somehow get involved in the porn business to fix their situation, is directed by Kevin Smith. As in every Seth Rogen work, this one also mocks the average man’s extreme incompetence.

5.Nymphomaniac
In the debate of who would beat Lars von Trier or Ang Lee, our vote is for Trier. Trier not only surpasses Lee but also makes him cry. Firstly, Lars von Trier, who uses Rammstein in his movie scores after David Lynch, disrupts the balance of power significantly and creates a substantial weight difference between them. Rammstein, consisting of Germans in leather suits who contributed to the Nymphomaniac movie score with the song “Führe Mich,” adds more than enough to the movie. Whether Nymphomaniac needs additional fuel is another matter. Before the movie was even released, the race of “We are the most moral among the countries, we should be the first to issue a ban statement” had already begun.

6.A Complete History Of My Sexual Failures
The story of the weary Bekir, who, as his youth begins to fade, approaches his former girlfriends—whom he used to spend like loose change—and seeks to learn about himself, why he is unsuccessful, and even wants to make a documentary about it, sometimes makes the viewer smile but more often evokes sympathy for the main character. The movie, which began with the idea that if he is unsuccessful and there is nothing he can do, at least he could make a documentary about his failure, was appreciated at Sundance for its sincere language. It seems there was no other choice but to be sincere.

7.Sextape
The effects of cloud accounts being compromised in Hollywood, where famous stars have gotten to know each other and become friends, are still ongoing. However, Sony leaked this incident just last month, almost as if mocking Apple, and in world cinemas. 9.Room in Rome
In the preface of the movie, it states that two women will spend 12 hours together in a room in Rome and share their life stories with each other. Don’t be fooled. No one actually shares their life stories in the movie. If life lessons were conveyed in that manner, they should be shared with everyone. Why should so many young people miss out on valuable insights?

10.Friends with Benefits
Hollywood romantic comedies have recently shown a great interest in the theme of “we’re friends, but we can sleep together, yet we must stay friends, no wait, we can’t stay friends, oh man, I’m in love with you!” Replace Mila Kunis with Natalie Portman, and the movie title changes from Friends with Benefits to No Strings Attached, but the content remains largely the same. The term Friends with Benefits itself is a stereotype for relationships that are very close, not quite lovers but like besties who can kiss each other.

11.Killing Me Softly
One of the unwritten rules of Hollywood is that if Heather Graham is in the cast, she must undress at the beginning, middle, and end of the movie. Alice’s life turns into a nightmare when she marries a maniac, and every wall, corner, beam, carpet, tulle, and curtain in the room will be destroyed.

12.The Wolf of Wall Street
Hollywood, which says, “If we can’t give Leonardo DiCaprio an Oscar, let’s give him a fun movie and let him go crazy in every scene,” has made a great choice. The movie, which most viewers reacted to with, “But it can’t be this much, in every scene, in every scene!!!”, is actually very acceptable because it is based on real life. The life of the fake stockbroker in the movie is exactly as outrageous as the one we watched. Leonardo gave an outstanding performance, so what more could the filmmakers do?

14.Shame
The production that turned Michael Fassbender, who stormed into world festivals like an elephant entering Paşabahçe and caused a sensation, into the king of the world was undoubtedly Shame. Fassbender, who plays a New Yorker unable to control his sexual urges and is perpetually aroused, leads a monotonous life of work, home, and bars, surrounded by prostitutes and porn movies. I leave the rest to the jury, your honor.

15.Lucia and the sex
Now read these quickly: Paz Vega, Lucia el sexo. Now again: Paz Vega, Lucia el sexo. We think there’s no more fitting reason for a movie with this phonetic appeal to make our list. The movie, which chronicles the adventures of Lucia as she embarks on a trip to a Mediterranean island, also features some pretty solid dialogue if you can focus. And Paz Vega plays the lead—just wanted to emphasize that again.

16.The Dreamers
When the themes of ’68, revolution, Paris, bohemian hangout, and student housing come together, The Dreamers has naturally become one of the most well-known, unforgettable movies in cinema. Directed by Bernardo Bertolucci and starring Eva Green, who is currently busy undressing in Sin City 2, the movie has both an uninterrupted version and an R-rated version that is 3 minutes shorter. We’ll leave it to you to decide what else might have happened in those 3 minutes.

17.Antichrist
Lars von Trier is at it again with another provocative movie featuring Charlotte Gainsbourg and pushing the boundaries of our patience, making us think, “Do whatever you want, woman.” The reason for this is undoubtedly the dominant male characters typically found in cinema. When Trier flips this narrative on its head, often in a very violent manner, the result is generally a movie that is difficult to watch. The violence and sexuality in the scenes add to this effect. Antichrist, the first movie in the director’s depression trilogy, was actually a preview of what was to come in Nymphomaniac.

18.Sex, Lies, and Videotape
Long before Andie MacDowell became the ladylike, smart, cook, and coquettish object of desire in Four Weddings and a Funeral, she appeared in Steven Soderbergh’s Videotape. Peering into what happens behind closed doors and recording forbidden and sinful activities for later retrieval are classic themes in movies with erotic elements. However, in an era where cloud technology is instantly accessible, the scenes of permed hair and videotapes now prompt us to view the screen with a smile.

19.I Am a Sex Addict
This is one of those young productions that our sweet brother Caveh Zahedi wrote, directed, and starred in, and he managed it very well. The movie sticks closely to its title: I Am a Sex Addict. Our unfortunate brother, who can’t stop thinking about sex and whose love and social life are deteriorating because of it, provides plenty of laughs as he searches for various solutions to his predicament. It’s a blend of biography, comedy, and romance, and of course, features plenty of prostitutes.
